In what was effectively a top of the table clash, BRFCC strolled to a comfortable 4 wicket victory against Foundation Cricket Club.

Having elected to bat after winning the toss, FCC faced an uphill task of getting runs on the board due to a combination of tidy bowling and excellent fielding by the BRF boys with Leke Oyede ending the match with 3 catches.

At the end of the 10 over, FCC were 21 for 1 as the duo of Akolade (9 overs, 18 runs and 3 wickets) and Olympio (5 overs 13 runs) left FCC reeling at 67 for 5 before a 6th wicket partnership between Ghanaian International Peter Ananya(27) and Tope Olayinka(15) took them past the 100 run mark. They finished with 136 runs all out in 47.3 overs

In reply, BRF lost opener Ademola Onikoyi early after he was trapped LBW by Ananya (3 for 35 in 10 overs) for 8 runs, Friday Udoh went for 12 runs before Awolowo(22) and Ofem(22) steadied the innings a little and by the time they both departed the victory was already within reach and they eventually won by 4 wickets to extend their unbeaten run in the league.
