IMCC got back to winning ways last weekend as they romped to a six wicket victory against Stallions CC
Stallions won the toss and elected to field first but a terrible batting performance in which 58 of their 103 runs were extras. Sumonu Jubril (16 runs off 47 balls) was the only batsman to stand out for stallions CC. Ajayi Akintunde (3 wickets for 11 runs in 7 overs), Akintokun Olumide (3 wicket for 14 runs in 4 overs) and Atif (2 wickets for 18 runs in 3 overs) were the pick off IMCC bowlers
IMCC chased down the total for the loss of 4 wickets. IMCC opening batsman Taiwo Balogun(53 runs* off 77 balls) once again showed why his team struggles to win games without him with a magnificent knock as he carried his bat. Akolade Yusuf (2 wickets for 22 runs in 5 overs) was the pick off Stallions CC bowling.
IMCC won by 6 wickets
